Man, did I have a dream this morning. It was one of those no matter what you do nothing goes right dreams. I woke up at 4:30 am and couldn't go back to sleep. I started processing it with my husband, who is almost always up at that time- sick, I know. I was explaining that I was trying to get to Italy (aren't we all?) The traffic to the airport was horrendous, the airport was huge and I couldn't find my gate, I was taking this elevator up and down but it was stopping at the wrong floors, strangers in the elevator could see my frustration. I was separated from my party, didn't have shoes for my trip, and felt like quitting. Finally, I found the hidden escalator to my gate but it was dark and unmarked. I decided to go and try to tell others where the escalator was. I was running up to strangers asking, "Are you going to San Lorenzo, Italy? The escalator is over here..." (Side note: I didn't know there was a San Lorenzo. San Lorenzo is a commune in the Province of Reggio Calabria in the Italian region Calabria!) Apparently San Lorenzo– Saint Lawrence– was a 3rd-century Christian martyr. Greeeeat! Well, there has been a great deal of suffering lately for beliefs that I have. Ooftah.
