I was in a Live Event Webinar last week when my husband texted me four words, “The Queen is dead.” I gasped, and from then on, the webinar was off, and the news was on. I’ve watched it all and YouTubed the minutes and assessments I missed. I’ve watched the body language experts and King Charles’s two tanties. (Oh, and I’m thinking in British now, hehe.) It’s always powerful when something happens that is a significant historical marker. 9/11, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Wedding of Charles and Diana, the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake, I could go on. The death of Queen Elizabeth II is paramount. Watching the world leaders gather to show honor was stunning—one woman for seventy years.
